About Us

Rural Development Park (RDP) is a new Career Tech Academy that launched in the fall of 2025. RDP is a partnership with Calhoun Community College to offer Morgan County and Hartselle City Schools students the opportunity to earn their high school diploma AND a license or credential to take them directly to the workforce after graduation. Program offerings are available in both medical and machining, and students will dual enroll through Calhoun Community College to earn these certifications.

• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)                     
• Advanced EMT (AEMT) 
• Medical Lab Assistant and Phlebotomy                     
• Physical Therapy Technician
• Pre-Nursing                                                                
• Practical Nursing
• Pre-Dental                                                                  
• Dental Assisting
• Sterile Processing Technician
• Aerospace Technology I and II
• Machine Tool Technology I and II

Tuition for these programs is 100% free to our students.
