Aerospace Technology I

Summary 

Students are introduced to aerospace manufacturing through hands-on training in aircraft and aerospace component assembly. Instruction includes the use of advanced tools and materials, basic fabrication techniques, and foundational skills in structures and assembly or aerospace welding. The program prepares students for entry-level aerospace careers and industry certifications while building knowledge of precision work used in aircraft, rockets, missiles, and other aerospace systems.

Classes 

Recommended Four Year Plan: 

9th: English 9, Geometry, Biology, World History, Career Prep, Physical Education Elective, Elective

10th: English 10, Algebra 1, Physical Science, US History 10, Health and Driver’s Ed, Elective, Elective / Summer: Only if needed

11th: English 11, Algebra 2, Science, US History 11, Fine Art Elective (Fall), Humanities Elective (Spring), ORI 110, at the RDP- 2 Periods / Summer: Eligible to take ARS Classes

12th: English 101, MTH 103, BIO 103, Government and Economic, at the RDP- 2 Periods / ARS evening classes at Calhoun needed to finish the two year degree by May.
