About Us
The Rural Development Park (RDP) is an innovative, student-centered learning hub designed to bridge the gap between education and the workforce. Located in Morgan County, RDP provides hands-on, real-world learning experiences that prepare students for high-demand careers in machining, aerospace, and medical pathways.
Through a strong partnership with Calhoun Community College, students have access to dual enrollment opportunities, industry-recognized certifications, and college-level coursework—giving them a head start on both college and career pathways. RDP provides students with opportunities to earn certifications, gain practical experience, and develop the skills needed to succeed beyond high school.
