Program Summary 

Students learn to provide basic patient care under the supervision of nurses while gaining hands-on healthcare experience. Training includes essential clinical, patient care, and workplace skills that prepare students for careers in healthcare and the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Nursing Support Technician (NST) certification exams.

Class Guide 

Recommended Four Year Plan: 

9th: English 9, Geometry, Biology, World History, Career Prep, Physical Education Elective

10th: English 10, Algebra I, Physical Science or Chemistry, US History 10, SPH 106 (Fall)/PSY 210 (Spring), Health/Driver’s Ed / Summer: BIO 201 and BIO 202, US History 11

11th: English 11, Algebra 2, Government and Economics, ENG 101 (Fall), MTH 100 (Spring), CNA/NST at the RDP - 2 periods / Summer: Begin LPN Program

12th: Students will spend the majority of their day at the RDP and/or clinicals. Students will not be on their home campus for classes.
