Welcome to the Rural Development Park

The Rural Development Park (RDP) is an innovative, student-centered learning hub designed to bridge the gap between education and the workforce. Located in Morgan County, RDP provides hands-on, real-world learning experiences that prepare students for high-demand careers in machining, aerospace, and medical pathways. 

Through a strong partnership with Calhoun Community College, students have access to dual enrollment opportunities, industry-recognized certifications, and college-level coursework—giving them a head start on both college and career pathways. RDP provides students with opportunities to earn certifications, gain practical experience, and develop the skills needed to succeed beyond high school. By investing in our students today, we are building a stronger workforce and a brighter future for tomorrow.
