What is Rural Development Park?

Rural Development Park (RDP) is a new Career Tech Academy launching in the fall of 2025. RDP is a partnership with Calhoun Community College to offer Morgan County Students the opportunity to earn their high school diploma AND a license or credential to take them directly to the workforce after graduation. Program offerings are available in both medical and machining, and students will dual enroll through Calhoun Community College to earn these certifications.

These areas of study include:

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Fire Fighting I
Medical Lab Assistant
Nursing Support Technician (NST)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Physical Therapist Aide
Surgical Tech- Sterile Processor
LPN (Coming Fall 2026)
Dental Assistant (Coming Fall 2026)
Aerospace/Precision Machine
Machine Tool Technology

These courses will be offered to juniors and seniors from all Morgan County high schools. The best news…the tuition for these programs is 100% free to our students.
